$PAYUP is not an investment product

$PAYUP gives you no share of fees, no vote and no claim on the treasury. The buyback spends 20% of each claim at market price and burns what it buys. A buyback does not set a floor, and the price can fall to zero. The token is not live yet. Until @usepayup posts the contract address, any token using the name is not ours.

Payouts depend on X Money

X Money has no public API for sending money. An operator sends each cheque by hand from the PAYUP account and records the reference. If X changes its limits, pauses transfers or closes our account, payouts stop until we restore a route. Fees keep accruing in the meantime and the ledger keeps every balance.

Conversion to dollars

Claims arrive in SOL. We convert to dollars through an exchange and fund the X Money balance from there. We book the dollar value at the moment of the claim, so price moves after that point are our risk, not the recipient's.

Routing is permanent

When a deployer revokes the fee-sharing admin, nobody can change where the fees go: not the deployer and not PAYUP. If you name the wrong handle, the fees still belong to that handle.

Recipients did not ask to be paid

A named account may not know the token exists. A payout is not an endorsement. Anyone can stop payments to their own handle through the opt-out page.

Third parties

PAYUP relies on Solana, pump.fun, X, X Money, an exchange, Privy and Vercel. Any of them can fail or change terms. We are not affiliated with any of them.

Custody

The treasury is a single Solana wallet run by the PAYUP team. Its address is public on the money flow page so anyone can check its balance and history.
